General Information about ladakh

By Air – From Airplane

The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi (700 kilometers from Ladakh) which is well connected with Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. You can go to a cab rent or JCRSTC bus from there to reach a luxury.

By Road – from the way

Ladakh is located 434 kilometers from Srinagar and 494 km from Manali. To reach Ladakh, you can hire a taxi or jeep or keep it in the JKRTC bus. Alternatively, you can start a bike journey from Srinagar, Manali or Chandigarh to Leh, depending on the time you have. During the winter months the highways are closed due to heavy snowfall. Therefore, you can travel only from road to Ladakh from May to September.
