General Information about Umiam Lake
Umiam Lake
Umiam Lake is a reservoir located on a hill 15 km north of Shillong Melaly in India, which is commonly known as Barapani lake. It was built by tying Umiam river in the early days of the 1960s. Lake and the main lake area of the dam spread over 220 sq km.
This is a man-made lake, American Samoa is bigger than San Marino or Bermuda Lake. Ward’s Lake

Geography of Umiam Lake
